ok Clutch #3 from SSEx started pipping last Friday, on Day 67. but first, a preface...
this is was my last clutch of the season, my Super Cinny Clutch. as most peeps know, Super Black Pastel/Super Cinny's are prone to cranial deformities and kinking. so this is a delicate clutch. i've heard of the issues, read about it, seen the pix and sympathize w/ all the heartbreaks that happen. knowing all that, i've discussed it and weighed the risks. i knew the animals i want, made the commitment and here's my first attempt.
Pairing was my Dave Green Reptile boy and my HDI Reptiles girl: 1.0 Banana Champ Cinny x 0.1 Super Cinny poss. het G-Stripe. both were virgins.
My Goals:
#1 - ehalthy viable babies
#2 - Banana Grey Matter aka Banana Batter
#3 - Grey Matter
#4 - Banana Super Cinny aka Banana Fosters
#5 - Champagne Cinny aka Frosted Cinnamon Roll
(ok i made up the names for #2, #4 and #5 above)
i wanted to start pairing on 2/14 b/c i thought it would be cute but i had too much wine one night and started pairing early. i saw my first lock on 2/1 @ 7:24am and they continued locking until at least 2/3.
i separate in between lock and the next one was on 2/10 through 2/11.
so we skipped Vday after all and the next lock was 2/18 - 2/18.
the 4th and last bit of the dirty was 3/11 - 3/13. they made quite the mess!
so i noticed her ovulating around 4/11.
and all the usual behavior like some belly flips.
and (attempted) bowl wrapping.
also being cute and wierd.
and she sheds 6/17.
she's fat, pregnant and trying to get comfy.
she coils.
and lays 6 pretty eggs on 7/24.
and then 1 more!
