Well. Everybody poops.
Hey guys!
I got my beep in the beginning of October (breeder said she was around 6mos at the time) and she had a good sized poop within the first week. Since then, she has been fed 6 times and she has not pooped!
In addition, she has not shed either. In the past week I’ve noticed some scales on her belly feeling rough, which I believe means she is about to shed.
Any advice or info on either of the two matters would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't worry bout it. my female subadult is eating like a rabid wolf, and she hardly ever poops and hasn't shed in months. She is on a growth spurt and I imagine a really BIG POOP/SHED is right around the corner.

Good to hear! What is your stance on how often you should be feeding? I originally thought every 7-10 days and now I’ve been told every 2 weeks and that I have been feeding too often.

If she is less than a year old, I would feed at least once/week. I feed my girl a large meal every 5-7 days, and I will continue to do so until she is an adult or she refuses a meal.
once they are adults, a small meal every week, or a large meal every 2 weeks is a good schedule.

Re: Well. Everybody poops.
That little, they can be just using nearly everything for growth. If she's passing urates occasionally, then she's not obstructed (you can also gently feel along her body and check for any lumps if necessary). My 2-ish year old bp only likes to poop about once a month. He did usually go about once a week when he was little, but he also had a long stretch or two without it, particularly at the time when he outgrew his prey and needed bumped up.

You know, I haven’t found any urates either and she doesn’t seem impacted... is there a remedy for that if so?

for a quick fix: a long soak in luke-warm water usually moves the bowels along.
long term: vet. impaction can be fatal.
honestly, i think your noodle is fine.
