    excreted follicles/premature slugs! warning..GROSS!

So I came home to this weird mess! Freaked me out! Raganarok, (who I mistakenly thought was male) had tried to squeeze out of the tub, but couldn't quite fit, she must have gotten stuck at some point before going back in the tub, and she squeezed out a bunch of what I think are premature slugs/follicles! I did a search and found one thread where someone's snake had this incident, they called it a "miscarriage" sort of. Unfertilized follicles that are normally re-absorbed by the snake's body, but since she got stuck between the tub and the rack shelf, she must have squeezed them out! There were some urates next to it also. I know she got stuck, because this pile of pink blobs and some urates were OUTSIDE of the tub. I will check with a vet to confirm and follow up. Ragnarok seems fine at the moment. FreakY!!!!

haha, it is going to take me awhile to perceive her as a female. I have been thinking of her as male for 2 years! I hope she doesn't have internal injuries after this incident.

Here's another old thread that may be relevant: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...ot-passed-quot

You can jump to page 9 for the vet's opinion. From reading the thread, the BP seems to have been unaffected by the event.

    Good luck.
