My Clown is Changing Colors!!

so last night was feed night and i noticed that my Turtle, a Clown boy, had just shed. and to my shock and wonderment, he's changed colors!

he looked like this as a baby:



i didn't want to bother him too much after he ate, but i took a feel quick pix:



i wonder what genes are at play. this is something new!

i got in contact w/ the breeder. he's from a Blade Clown x Blade Clown pairing from the EBN line. can't really explain how he just lost his colors. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So wait, your trying to tell me this is real? What was with all the crazy photoshop colors then, why didn’t you just show the real change? I’m so confused, I think I’ll just spectate from here on lol.
