    Signs of stress

I was just wondering, for when I do handle Geno (Male ball python) what are some signs of stress? Like to tell me when he'd like to go back in. If he's breathing fast or something.. just if you knew any other signs. This might be a stupid question lol, but I'd like to know what your snake does. Thank you!

Fast, heavy breathing is one sign. Tongue flicks is another. Flicks should be slow, steady and inquisitive and not super fast or frequent. Their body movements should also be slow and calculated.

    craigfrachette is on point.

for my two: Yellow tries to avoid me and move away from me when he's ready to go back in, Spaghetti just starts moving faster than usual when she's had enough.

Depends for me. I try to hold every other day. Boople also likes to sit in my tank top curled up because it's warm and dark lol. She will stay there for hours if I let her lol

other than that 10-20 minutes usually is all she wants lol.
