BP under bed

I would like a larger cage for my ball python. Is it okay to keep him in a Tupperware under my bed? We have a pet cat. Is there any way to keep the cat away?

if you mean an appropriately sized plastic bin, yes that's okay. invest in luggage straps for extra security keeping the lid closed.

there is no way to keep the cat away besides closing the door when you're not there. i highly recommend you do this.
