Possibe Scale Rot even though cage cleaned every 2 weeks and humidity at 50-60%
Hello, my Ball Python Apollo has just shed today, and I made sure to get him out and check him for any remaining skin. When I was going over him I saw a red mark on him and a few around it, I was wondering if it could possibly be scale rot, or maybe he just scratched himself while shedding! I'd love any advice. Thanks!

Sorry, I'm on my phone and I don't know how to post a pic directly on here!
I hope this will do:

I can take more if needed, he's just in his hide right now!

looks like he scraped a scale off if that's the only spot of injury.
scale rot usually happens on the belly first. keep an eye on it for any worsening.

Thanks! I'll make sure to check him thoroughly tomorrow and check if there are any other signs or places where it may occur, I'll post more pictures if I find anything!

Yes that is definitely a scrape of some sort. Try to figure out how the animal did it because odds are it will do it again.
Honest, I only need one more ...

He had one of the pet-store branches or sticks you could buy for reptiles to climb on, I ripped all the sharp parts off that I saw when I bought it but I just took it out, that's where I think it came from
I was hoping it'd help him get the skin off but not hurt him
