    Update on my ECT treatments

I am three days into my treatments and I have to say that I am glad that I am getting the ECT. I feel more alive and stable then I ever have in my entire life. I am so glad that I did not give up. My blood pressure does goes up but that is a common side effect of the ECT. The hospital is always readily prepared and has an IV dripping when I wake up to stabilize my blood pressure. I guess what I am trying to say is that there is always hope and one should not give in or give up so easily. I'm truly glad I didn't.
