    does ball python need lighting

    My adult male ball python has a ceramic heat emitter. Does he need a light also? Is it better to add or not to add one?

    nah, light only stresses beeps out. the normal light that comes through your windows is enough for them.

    If you were to give them light, only let it in there for a max 12 hrs a day.
