Cut on snake's neck. Should I treat or leave alone?

My ball python has a cut on his neck just below his head. Should I treat it with neosporin or let him heal on his own? He doesn't seem bothered by it so far so I'm thinking to let it bee. Also, his cage is freshly cleaned and he has clean water to help prevent infection.

I looks like it's scabbed over already so I'd just let it be.

try to find out how it happened and remedy the issue, and like piedlover said it looks closed enough to let be.

Like tttaylorrr said, do you know how it happened? Looks longer and deeper than a mouse scratch..id find out what caused it asap, looks like its a a clean cut, if its scabbed let it be, if its still a bit wet use Neosporin w/o any Pain Relief.

Re: Cut on snake's neck. Should I treat or leave alone?
I just got new hide boxes off amazon. To be honest the sides don't seem as rounded as I would expect, but I wouldn't expect to see a cut at that angle from the hides. Also they aren't sharp enough to cut me, so probably not sharp enough to cut through scales.
He did bite his last rat at an odd spot. Such that the rat's mouth was exposed, but I quickly put a bamboo skewer in it's mouth. The rat's mouth was facing outward so it wasn't in a position to bite anyway. Those are the only ideas I have.

double-check, and just be diligent: pay close attention during feeding time or when the snake is out.
