    Snake Play date!

Let me start by saying NO, we did not let the snakes play together. I met this nice young lady Sami when I bought Mikey, my newest pale royal python. She was in the store as I was holding him and choosing to buy him. She was as enamored by him as I was. We made a promise to get together because she has several fun animals. So we made a date for today so I could come and see her collection and she could see Mikey. I didn't bring Harvey as he's been a bit cranky lately. As soon as I walked in the door she took Mikey out of his carrier to cuddle him, and her Mom came over with a snowy corn snake around her neck! I thought "this is a super cool family!". Her mom handed me Princess from her neck and cuddled Mikey as well. Then Sami took Mikey back and we went upstairs to see her "zoo". I might forget a thing or two, but here's what she had: The snowy corn snake, a specialty ball python (I forget the exact name, but he had really cool colors), a baby rainbow boa (the prettiest snake I've ever seen), 2 long hair hamsters, 3 eels (one of which will kiss your fingers), a very friendly bearded dragon, and several beautiful fish. I had such a great time! Sometimes people don't understand us reptile owners, and it's fun to be in the company of someone who completely gets it! I'm going to introduce Sami to this site, as I've found it to be so informative. I learn something every time I visit!
ps checking with Sami to see what type of python she has. Will post again!
