Well let me start by saying I hope this is in the right place. This is mainly a "What would you do" post. I got the go ahead to pick up a new female BP Morph that would go good with future project from my very loving and understanding wife Liza. I found this animal for sale from a seller I've used a few times in the last year and felt comfortable making the purchase. Now I must stop here and say I have only dealt with this seller on a reptile show level, never in a shipping situation. I made payment on Mon. April 6th by direct deposit into his bank account (we bank with the same bank). Now I can understand not getting the animal shipped out on Mon. as the funds may not get to his account until the next day. I received a call from the seller on Tues. morning letting me know the funds had arrived. Now there was another problem the seller asked me the price on his website when I called him about the purchase. I went to his site while having him on the phone (gotta love a fast laptop) and gave him the price that was listed on his then not totally finished site. The problem lies in the fact that as of Tues his site(now finished and immaculate) is higher. Fine I offer to pay the difference which wasn't much more, he said no don't send the difference, and to let him see if he made a mistake. He said that the difference in price wouldn't stop him from shipping and he would get back to me. Tues goes and Weds. comes and no call so I contact him and he says he is looking at a Mon ship date as he was going to be predisposed weds. night and all of Thurs. and he would rather send out the animal instead of an employee.
With all the delay it's starting to make me wiery and kinda wanting to walk away from the deal which I'm hesitant to do because I kinda like the deals I get from this seller. So I guess the reason for this post is to get some "outside of this box insight", so give it which ever it might be lol.
