    Photo Posting Tutorial

I thought this might help people new to the forum, as well as people new to posting and uploading images.

I'll be adding a tutorial (to this thread) on uploading images to http://ball-pythons.net provided gallery, and then posting the images in a thread.

This is a tutorial for uploading images to http://www.photobucket.com and then posting them on http://ball-pythons.net, enjoy!

    Step One

    Step Two

    Step Three

    Step Four

    Step Five

    Step Six

    Step Seven

    Step Eight

    Step Nine

    Hope this helps!

That's a good tutorial. Very easy to follow. The one thing I would suggest changing, is to preview the post before submitting. That way they can go back and edit before posting if needed.

    Re: Photo Posting Tutorial

Do you need to resize the photo before you upload your photo to photobucket? And if so what is a good size to use for posting on here? Or is your photo automatically resized size when you post it here from photobucket? Thanks!!!

Photobucket will automatically resize to a more manageable width and height.

I believe the standard (preferred) image size for http://ball-pythons.net is 800x600. You don not have to resize it off of photobucket if you do not wish to. They have a new program which automatically scales down the images to the approximate standard.

If you'll look above over half of the images on this thread it says "This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image." You can click the bar and view a larger size of the image, but it scales it down, so you don't have to.

You can also resize the image in photobucket. Click on the image in your photobucket account that you wish to resize. Hover your cursor above the image and a bar will appear above the image. Place your cursor over the tab that says "resize" and choose the dimensions you'd like the image to be resized to. See Below.
