    Best foods for gut-loading crickets

    What are the best foods to gut load crickets? not storebought foods but natural healthy foods.

    Really the store bought ones are the best kind!

    It has everything your crickets need and makes them healthy for the animal your feeding them to

    Other than that I threw in Carrots and squash, but it makes them smell worse and you have to clean up after them alot more.

    i gutload my bearded dragons crickets with repcal brand juvi bearded dragon food

    I would use the store bought cricket gut-load. But for water I often would give them fruits such as cut up apples, grapes, etc... Mainly because I can't stand that jello stuff they sell for cricket drink.

    I have also heard you can use chicken feed as a substitute for gut-load, but I'm not sure if that is as nutritious.

    I was looking through some old REPTILES magazine and I found a good article on gut loading.
