    This is an ovulation, right?

She's been locking through the fall and winter, but hid her follicles really well so I didn't think she'd take. I'm cautiously hopeful about this being my first successful "season."

It looks like the start or end of her ovulation. I would say there is a pretty good chance.

Thanks! With luck I'll have some good news to report back with in a few weeks. My other girl just shed, which I'm hoping is her post-ovy (though I didn't catch that one). The pairings aren't anything crazy, but I can't help it - I'm really excited.

I know, breeding is exciting no matter what the pairing. It is always hard to wait.

I think you are on the right track. She should shed soon, after which you can begin your count down.

Quick update: She-Hulk (a.k.a. "Large Marge") shed either yesterday or the day before. The countdown begins!

As for the hopeful ovy, she had shed around 4/2 so I'll be on egg watch soon.

Re: This is an ovulation, right?

I quickly snapped a picture of the girl I wasn't sure about being gravid. She's overdue to lay going by her potential PLS, but that doesn't mean much on its own. She has been favoring the heat, and up until 5/13 she's been pretty tightly coiled whenever I've seen her. On the 13th, however, her tub was all messed up and she's got a pronounced ridge along her spine now. Fingers crossed!

Good news! Woke up yesterday morning to She-Hulk wrapped around 7 big eggs. She made it easy to count out the hatch date by laying on the 1st of the month.
