Very cool, do any hiking while you were here? You need to come back and do some herping when it gets warm again, they dont call it the salamander capital of the world for nothing.

Nice Shots!! Makes me a wee bit homesick for East TN... actual seasons and trees that change colors.....*sigh

Kat, my main camera body is a canon 1d III. the main lense i use for landscape is the 16-35 2.8L II...mixed in w/ the 24-70 2.8L and 70-200 2.8L IS.
I am curious one day to hear about the research you do...and how you got there.
Aric, did some hiking. nothing huge. There are some other cascades/falls i want to see but have to make some time for. The east tenn herps i really want to see are pinesnakes, timber rattlesnakes, and hellbenders. I also wouldn't mind seeing a bear or two to photograph.
