Nice Hoggies! Just a friendly reminder - sales questions should be addressed in PM's not in the open forum.

Your Hogger's personality sounds just like mine. It seems that ours really want that food... They seem to miss alot because they have this "thought" in their mind that makes them expect the food to flee, so they go faster than they should and therefore, keep on missing (in the wild they eat very fast prey such as frogs).
Personally, I've never owned a boid so I've never witnessed constriction but like most (maybe all, I'm not sure) terrestrial colubrids (some Ratsnakes in my area constrict) they just go for the kill. Your Hogger will probably use the same method repeatedly even as it gets older, just like mine. Post some pics soon so I can determine the brightness of his colors .

    Re: I got a hoggie!!!!

I've wanted a hoggie for years, and have debated not getting a western so I wouldn't have to deal with a state permit. I like the westerns the best though.

I really think they're neat snakes.
