Amazing work! Many years ago I had a good friend that did pen and ink with the same method. Used the rapidographs as well. I was always in awe of his work! I tried it myself (used to think of myself as an artist), and never achieved the kinds of things that he did.

Wow....nice work!! I can't even imagine the amount of paticent it took to make something like that. I have to use those pens in my architecture studio (I love them) to ink my final boards, but I've never seen anything like that done with them. Every thing we do in there has already been drawn several times and is already structured for us in pencil. Very nice work!!

Simply amazing. I could do a lot of techniques very well back when I was taking a lot of art classes - but stippling was one of those that I never had a knack for. I am VERY impressed with your work.
You should start comissioning your work.

Thanks a million for all the good words everyone! Seriously appreciated. Sitting down and spending serious time on an illustration is like my relaxation. Kind of how some people can spend 9 months buildinga model. I am an artist for the chain "Trader Joe's" here in Boston by day. I do all their wall murals which is a nice switch but I still prefer smaller scale detail driven stuff. I also work part time as a tattoo artist at a local shop which is fun.
Blue,
If people wanted to comission an original piece I would defineatly talk with them. I am working on getting a website up which would showcase all of my illustrations for this very reason.
Thanks again!

Now your talking my language! I build model cars, and have spent as much as a year on some. Each component of the model becomes a model in itself, which is how I can do it and not lose interest. My friend that I mentioned previously told me once he always starts with the eyes. He usually did big cats, lions, cheetahs, cougars, etc. He said the same thing, that each part of the animal becomes a project in itself.
