    change can be good!

I have a couple of ball pythons that where CB in 2005 that I have purchased ~12 weeks ago. They where kept of aspen bedding and feeding on live rats from the breeder. I duplicated their original setup and have had very sparse success with feeding. After trying live rats, live mice, f/t rats and f/t mice I finally switched mediums to cypress mulch with a bit of aspen. Gave them a week and tried live rats again. No luck. The following week I tried f/t mice. Both ate right away. They both ate the same type of meal again last night. So I have gone full circle from aspen and live rats to cypress and f/t mice. I could not have been happier watching them eat though and feel this was a small trial to accommodate their needs for comfort.
