Re: My boy is acting weird
So I probed him again and he is definitely a boy. Probe goes down 9+ scales. So it's definitely not female hormones or something like that. I have the cool temp raised a bit and I think I'll try the extra meal if he's still being weird in a couple days. Last few days he's been digesting so he's been hiding though. If anyone has any other things I should do just let me know. If he's a little chunky, should I try smaller rodents but slightly more frequent? I'm thinking around 10 days rather than 2 weeks and maybe a weaned rat rather than small?

Re: My boy is acting weird
If my snakes are striking at the glass when I walk by that usually means they’re hungry. He’s 3, so a biweekly feeding schedule should be fine, but you could also try feeding him every 10-12 days and see if he mellows out. I wouldn’t be too worried as long as he’s eating, pooping, and shedding normally. He doesn’t look overweight to me at all.

Fair point although I bought a placid , adult Woma python years ago and it was striking at the glass for a day or so until it settled doen
Then it was perfectly placid as the seller had promised
