Recently my ball (about 3 yrs) has been on a hunger strike. It’s been a month since he has eaten (i’ve tried tons of different things.. different kinds of prey etc etc). I did research and concluded he may just be wanting to breed and is looking for a female. He is super active at nights and there are no other behavior changes. He has lost about 150 grams between not eating and becoming so active. I woke up and found this urate (i’m assuming urate because he hasn’t eaten anything) and it’s definitely odd for him. Does this look unhealthy? Should I visit a vet?
His husbandry is on point, I did recently change from the RHP to the heat lamp to provide better heat during these winter months (but that was while he wasn’t eating still).
