DIY Cages: PVC, ABS, or HDPE?
Hi all,
I am looking into building my own enclosures for my ball python, another future snake (either a boa or a blood python), and my crested gecko, and I am looking into plastics to order. I am choosing between PVC, ABS, and HDPE. I've heard good things about all three. I'm leaning towards PVC since it can be solvent welded easily, but I've heard that it absorbs odors and stains over time. I would love to know what others think is the best out of these three options and why. Thanks in advance!

I've got some marking on my pvc, but I haven't noticed odors or stains. I should add, though, that I use repticarpet as my substrate and I have a very small snake.
