That was my first thought as I read the title.

Haha no, but that's pretty funny. It is for a strong female though, so it may correlate perfectly with you. Snapping turtles are more affectionate than you may think!

Adorable turtle! First person I've heard of with one for a pet...you keep changing the gender when you talk to him-her though, lol...

I take it that Tank isn't your turtle (?) but maybe what influenced you to try keeping a snapping turtle for a pet too? Tank has me "sold" too.
Many more animals (than we expect to) seem to understand good treatment as our pets.

Yea, that is just a video I found while doing research. And that's not a unique case of affection from my research . Mine has swam up to me when I entered the room and I've only had her for two days. While I couldn't call it affection yet, it is curiosity beyond a feeding response.

7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.
