Look For The Rainbow.
Catching the iridescence of a carpet is sometimes difficult because a lot of them glow simply due to their colors.
Jewel isn't anything special colorwise. She is likely somewhat wild patterned however when the sun hits her just right you can see the shimmering iridescence that she has.
The typical deck rail shot. I just dig this snake.

I love the iridescence some snakes have; my late BCI had that in spades (she was dark in color so it showed up really well), & my little Aussie spotted python (who
just shed) is really "sparkly" now too. I'm surprised Jewel doesn't have a modeling contract by now?
