Yes, this refers to the intergrades when they cross in a natural population.

Last night gave us our first collected southern copperhead of the year. We missed two or three on the roads prior and were not able to get photographs. Good closure to our season as temperatures shift. Found in 63 degree temps at 822 moving through the grounds
