It is such fun to watch them eat! I have a few from last feeding, excuse the poor image quality, the camera couldn't focus well due to the low light but I didn't want to disturb him with the bright lights. He already had a four person audience .

Looking very silly trying to realign his jaw.

The meal isn't over until you have had at least 5 huge yawns.

And this picture isn't my own, nor is it my snake, but this has got to be the most ridiculous snake eating picture I have seen in my life. It is a sand boa. lol

I don't have any handy right now, but I love the way it looks when just the tail is sticking out, and they look like they're about to slurp down the tail like a noodle lol

I have a camera that takes still shots from video footage. The other day I passed a part I wanted to watch and boy is it weird to watch them eat sped up and in reverse.

Do snakes pout? Usually my BP is ready to get out of enclosure as soon as I get home, but yesterday he was sitting in hide with just head sticking out so I left him alone. Today I realized that yesterday should have been a feeding day. When I got home he was stretched out lengthwise in the tank, and when I stroked him he turned away and went back into hide.
That's when I realized what he wanted. Thawed out a rat in 20 minutes and as soon as I had it in the tank he came out and grabbed it. A few minutes later...

And of course soon after came the après dinner yawn.
