A friend of mine had givin me a jar of Fluker's Freeze Dried Crickets. Has anyone ever used these in your Beardie's diet?

I personally wouldn't use them but I have no reason other then I don't really like crickets.

I would breed my own dubia colony if I had anything that needed crickets.

For free can't beat them, I used them before but I wouldn't buy them again. its easy to raise roaches like Neal said if you don't have a colony yet.

What I use to do with those is add them in my beardies salad. I would mix up salad strawberry, and just a lil bit of carrot and corn and mix those in. He seemed to love his cricket salads.... Man I miss him, he passed away over the winter at around 5 years of age.

I think it's time I pull the trigger on another one, I've been eye balling fauna and blood bank for a month or so now.

You could add them to the salad or something, but they definitely could not replace the insects you feed your beardie. They are worthless, nutritionally. For the insect percentage or your beardie's diet they need to be live, gutloaded insects.
I don't know if your intention was to replace live insects or if you were just asking of you could use them at all. Since they were free, just mix them in with the salad and call them croutons!

I'm sorry to hear bout your Beardie btw. You should get another! They're great reptiles. But I'm into monitors more, but I still love my Beardie to death!
