    Of course they can be. Many snakes are actually pretty intelligent - boas included - and they can and will interact with their environment. It stands to reason that they would show curiosity at times and quite often obviously show it.

    I like Hog Islands because of their size and temperment. If I had the space I would get a Columbian BCI

    Recently I have developed an interest in Amazon tree boas and now have three of them. They come in amazing colors, have a great feeding response and will interact with you more than most snakes. And I really love that they perch and make lovely display snakes that you can look at all day long!

    The only boa I have owned is a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, love them to death ^^.
