    # of baby tubs

How do you know how many baby tubs you will need? Let say you have 10 ovulating females how many tubs should you have ready? I know you could wait until you know how many eggs you have but I think it would be better to have them before you have eggs cooking.

To be completely safe, you could have six baby tubs available for every breeding female. Some won't take and some will lay more than six eggs. If you start getting eggs and find that you need more baby racks, you always have some time to get more. Just order from a trusted source that ships quickly. I've had pretty good luck with Reptilebasics.com in getting baby racks quickly.

Yep, what Don said. Fortunately, you have 55 days' notice from when a clutch is laid to when you need to have tubs ready for the babies!

I agree, planning on an average of 6 eggs per females is a good plan. If you end up with too many babies you can alway put them in tubs with locking lids on top of flexwatt until you get another rack.
