Yep prehistoric pets found Anery in Pure WC SD as did a few other independent breeders with odd looking wild caughts. Travis kube has them which is who mine is bred by. He will be here Thursday evening

www.reptileexperts.com/albino.htm - just threw this page up briefly to show the two on their way. This is of the SD Anery and the SD Platty 50% that will be arriving on Thursday for those who wanted to see. These shots are from the breeder / seller.

Stephanie's SD selection stops at 50% and is usually just for Het Amel or Amel (which can be costly!) but yes, Stephanie is a great seller / breeder. I have a Dwarf Purple from her, and a Dwarf Genetic Stripe Poss het Albino :-)

Thanks for the info! That's pretty cool. That leaves hope that if people actually keep breeding the pure SDs like I hope they do they should eventually discover other morphs like albino.

Even trying to keep pure lines aside . . . the reason people are attracted to SD is because of their insane diffusion of pattern making them appear almost het anthrax (granite back). Add this in with their long heads and tiny over all size, they are just cute mini tics. When you get into morphs you hold onto all these aspects while adding color and pattern. Purity aside, when you breed back and get to 75% SD and greater, you do not notice much of a size difference from pure SD for the original founder line to that morph. The only difference some have witnessed is girth. The smallest SD out there thats pure will have the girth of a healthy corn snake! The next ones up like Honey Island will get as fat as the one you use to have, and like wise my 50% adult.

Her stock looks really great but if she's not breeding higher %Dwarfs or SD, I probably won't buy from her since I'm really looking for snakes that will still stay about 10 ft. or preferably less right now. Maybe in the future though!

Yeah, the patterns that the SDs got on them are super attractive, I'm sure people will start to find a bunch of mutations in those guys once more people get into them... or that's what I hope at least!

Stephanie does work with high% Dwarf, but these snakes will still top at 14' and stay on the low side of 10' for her male Dwarfs. Her Genetic Stripe stuff should stay considerably smaller though in the area of 8-10 for a male, and 10-12 for a female. Still a chance it could get vastly larger though.
