One more quick diy incubatorI bought two of these coolers on clearance and what better to do with the other one than make a incubator!
Front shot of the cooler with the tstat probe on the top.
11 inch flexwatt on the bottom, about 3 feet.
I made a base out of 1 inch pvc, right angles, and t's. When making the cuts on the pvc remember to add roughly a inch and a half to account for the amount going into the right angles and the t's.
Placed inside
I picked up some eggcrate which is used in lighting, cut to size with some tin snips.
Placed inside over the pvc base. I choose this method so the tubs on the bottom are not directly on the heat and also helps with air circulation.
Small computer fan I picked up for around $5. I wired it to a 12v cell phone charger. I added some rubber washers on the corner to prevent sliding.
The all wires ran through the drain hole on the side.
Add your tubs and you are good to go! This can hold 8 6qt shoe box sized tubs. With 8 tubs you will have to move the fan under the eggcrate. All together this was well under $100. I have made similar ones in the past and they all hold the temps perfect.

Thanks!
