I'd use 3 or 4 coats but the first coat I'd mix in a penetrating agent (penatrol) this will seal the wood better as it enters the wood fibres deeper.

I already put the first one on so I'll just put three more on there and four on the outside. It took a lot more then I figured it would and it was a pain in the ass just doing that first coat.

Don't wanna start another thread on it but if anyone has an answer that would be helpful. I have wood floor in here and I was wondering can I use UTHs under tile or should I use heat tape under tile would cost about the same where I'm at so which would work best? I'm planing on putting which ever one on all three levels cuz it gets cold here in the winter

What kind of animal is this for? I personally might plan on using either flexwatt or cable.

Carpet python, im building it as a big display type piece so to compensate for the size I wanna make sure I can keep my heat right. K I was leaning heat tape way just wanted another's opinion it's just going to be a pain in ass wiring all it
