    Exclamation **False impression about snakes must be changed**

    I found a link to a very interesting article on my FB page this morning and enjoyed reading it...but saw something that must be corrected. The article is '10 Stubborn Body Myths That Just Won’t Die, Debunked by Science'. Myth #9 is 'You Can Cure a Snake Bite by Sucking Out the Poison' ...and the picture the author used is that of a Corn snake. Great, so more people will start thinking that any snake that looks like that is dangerous...that's all we need.

    So I wrote to the author using the email link at the end of the article (as discussions are closed) and asked them to please change the picture and add a disclaimer. I urge other to do this as well so we can make sure to get rid of misleading information in what is supposed to be a scientific article.
