    Egg Butt Puff

    I want the term to catch on...

    I really do.

    EGG BUTT PUFF (or EBP):

    Definition:

    Egg Butt Puff is the day or two (or even week) before the eggs are laid. The area right next to the vent gets huge and puffy with the eggs that are waiting to come out. It is an excellent time line indicator of when to get ready for eggs to be laid, and when to prep your incubator boxes.

    Here are some examples.

    Lol, love it. My Anthill Python female has some EBP going on right now for sure; I hope she lays before sunday! I will dutifully use the term EBP from now on .

    This is mine, last year she gave me 10 big eggs, this year will hopefully be more, tomorrow is the day 31 after her pre layshed
    She was breed with a mini mini Killer Bee 450 gms.
    I do not think that missing more than 2 days, maybe tomorrow.
    Today is may 20th

    After using this already to describe a snake to my girlfriend, I found PEB, or Puffy Egg-Butt, to roll off the tongue easier, haha. While I don't want to steal any thunder here, I might vote for the change to PEB for the sake of ease to speech .
