    Pinky mice vs. Pinky gerbils?

So I wanna know from you guys, Is there a nutritional value difference between feeding pinky mice or pinky gerbils to bp or chondra babies? Should I be picking one or the other?

Probably not. I'd stick to the mice.

Re: Pinky mice vs. Pinky gerbils?

Gerbils are okay for a BP but they tend to get "hooked" on them after having them for a while and it will be hard to switch them back onto move if you ever can't find gerbils or something. I would go for mice as well, but just on a side note: pink mice are far too small for a BP, even a hatching, though I think they would be ok for a chondro baby ( I'm not a big chondro expert)

Ball pythons - Start with fuzzy rats or rat pups depending on the size of the baby Skip the whole mouse stage if you can. Pink anything is too small unless you are assist feeding.

    No clue about the chondros.

Re: Pinky mice vs. Pinky gerbils?

Gerbils are way too expensive. Like was stated earlier, ball pythons often get an imprint of a certain prey and will only eat that. You don't want a ball python that costs about $10 to feed once a week.

I had a problem feeder a few years back that I fed a gerbil once per a suggestion that a gerbil will often get them back on feed. That worked, but I quickly switched back to rats.

I as well like to start with rats, and stick with them.

Go with pinky Rats. Number 1 you shouldn't get a snake Hooked on gerbils. Number 2 I know that pinky mice are way too small for hatchling bps I'm pretty sure about chondros too but I don't raise chondros.

I need to add a lil something in here, I kinda left a lil something out. I do know pinkies are waaaay to small for bp babies. Sorry guys I was just curious as far as the nutritional values. I should also have added on this that I raise both gerbils and mice. I'm just really curious of the nutritional values.
