    Re: Roll Call for Ohioans

    Hey all-
I'm from the Cleveland area and typically head to the Cleveland show. I've never been down to Cbus for a show. Let me know how they are this year and if it may be worth the drive down.

In New Concord Ohio here about an hour east of Columbus. We are at the Columbus show every month and we are pretty happy with it most months. Rodent pro is there every month and there are a couple live dealers there but they do sell out alot.

Well let me put it this way, the Clev show is not really worth the drive for me. The cbus show is better in my opinion.

I am not exactly a Ohioan, I live in Erlanger KY in Northern Kentucky about 10 south of Cincinnati. I haven't been to Columbus show but Cincinnati just started one and it was pretty good. It is held just outside of Kings Island. DK Reptiles was there and they do breed rats. They have a pretty good price too from what I can tell. We got our snakes from them at the Lexington show at Rupp arena which was pretty lame. DK was the only vender there with more than 2 balls and there was probably only about 7 venders total. Cincinnati was way better and DK was there too.

Is there a Herp Society in Columbus and can anyone please recommend a good vet for me? Need a place that understands snakes and bearded dragons please.

No hero society that I'm aware of and here are a couple vets in the area. I haven't been to either but they were recommended to me.

I know of a rat breeder between Findley & Toledo- healthy and good prices. Her website is http://dhookventures.com/ I think it might be outdated but her contact info is on there. Her name is Denise.

The site hasnt been updated since 2008 so I emailed to see if they are still producing feeders. She had a pretty good price on rodent block too. I'll update this thread if I hear back.
