oh, yes ofcourse. I dont know about the whole different part of the house thing.. because all my snakes are housed in different tubs. I can put the other snake in a different area of my room. the rest of the house is central air. and is pretty much freezing, my room is the room in the house thats rather warm. I have two pairs of feeding tongs as is. And i wash my hands after handling my snakes ^_^ And will continue to do so when having different species.
