    I use a craft bead organizer (wal-mart $4 for one with about 40 compartments). I used my dremel to make a hole in each compartment. Don't use dirt or anything. They just need to be separated and be stressed...no food or water.

    The way I isolated them when i bred them at school was even cheaper than anything I've heard here yet. Go to Walmart. Go to the photo center, and ask for a bag of empty film canisters. They'll give you a BIG bag full, and they're perfect for isolating the worms.
