    Worried about my baby

I fed my girl two mice on saturday night. The most she has ever eaten, and she had a noticable lump in her. Well, going into the week, and she looks bloated in her stomach area, as if I just fed her, but its not as firm. It looks and feels like I fed her a small balloon instead of two mice.

Im worried, is it some problem or is she just taking longer than normal to digest such a large meal? I gave her a luke warm bath yesterday night and no gas came out when I ran my finger down her belly.

    Any ideas?

PS. Im trying to google this and nothing is coming up so far that has to do with feeding and the stomach seeming bloated.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

    Re: Worried about my baby

    Oh yeah,

    Rack system, 32 quart.

Feeds once ever once and a half weeks on either one huge mouse or two

    medium mice

    Shes an 09

Do not have a current weight

Temps stay around 88-90 on the warm side, controlled by a helix, taken by a heat gun

    Clean water always

and Paper towels as a substrate.

This is why I am worried... as far as I know my setup is perfect for her.

and she comes from a very trusted source, so parasite chances are low because the other boa I have came from the same person, one week after I got her and is in the tub below hers.

She is not lathargic either, when I check on her she is in different spots and every now and then gos to get a drink.

Can you take a pic of her? Your setup sounds good, maybe raise the hotspot to 94-95! Dont handle her at all for a few days. This is just my opinion but it sounds like your feeding a little to much! The only 09s I have are a few from my litter in June, they are still on rat pups every 9-12 days.

Yeah, I realized I may have fed her too much. I wasnt going to feed her two but I had an extra small mouse and the other mouse hadnt left any sign of lumpyness in her so I thought she could handle it.

Ive been keeping handling to an extream low, im just worried.

Also, she is an early 09.
