That is weird, but your beardie will love the extra room when he's older!

I think leos are really cute! A crestie is another option. Similar in size and temperament to leos, although they have sticky feet and can (and will) climb the glass, and they look much different.

Lol, they are pigs! That's great that he eats veggies. Many baby beardies don't.

Beardies change color depending on body temperature and stress levels. When they are stressed out or cold, they turn darker (to look scarier / to warm up), and when they are comfortable and warm, they lighten up. It's perfectly normal, unless your beardie is non-stop dark, he's fine.

think it would be okay to just soak some small landscaping rocks in a strong bleach/water for a day than clean them off good and use them as a basking spot ? they are very porous so the bleach will work its way through them and should kill anything on them .

Yep, as long as you rinse REALLY well. I bleach too; I'm kind of paranoid about using the oven.

mkay yea i hear that rocks will explode sometimes if you put them in the oven and i figure that letting them sit in bleach for at least 12 hours will get most of the germs off them plus any bugs that would be on them shouldent live that long underwater combined with the bleach.

i will post a pic when i get the rocks in there btw and i will show you the old setup.

also i was wondering if you knew of any good websites to buy stuff for my beardie at ? the stores are really overpriced on a lot of the things i want to get but yea ty for all the help.

Sounds good. I would love to see pics of the setup!

I know what you mean about overpriced places.

    I get everything from PetMountain.
