    DIY Large Snake Cage

As some of you know Tequila, our 9 foot female boa, had a really nice and very huge custom enclosure. I say had as we just moved this past weekend and unfortunately our new home doesn't have the type of closet we can rehab into a large snake enclosure like our old home did. Tequila is in a secure and safe temporary container for now but we need to quickly get something permanent made for her.

I've been googling but haven't come across a decent DIY for a large snake enclosure suitable for a 9 foot boa. I'd like it to allow her to climb somewhat at least up onto a braced basking shelf as she really seems to enjoy doing that.

Next question - for you larger snake owners what would you say are good dimensions for Tequila's new cage. I don't want it taking up an entire room but I'd like to give her more than just the minimum requirements without going overboard.
