Ok so when you see a newscast on someone being arrested for animal abuse, (lady in a trailer with 400 Shi'-tzu's) (breeding). Thats backyard breeding.

Another version of it, breeding a pair, then breeding the same male back to all of his own offspring, over and over again, untill you get spider head wobbles.

So, you are implying that inbreeding or even line breeding to prove out a trait is backyard breeding? Or even that Kevin from NERD is a backyard breeder since he is the one that proved out the spider gene?
