spinning/wobble

I have been reading about spiders and bees and the genetic problem of wobbling/spinning. And I noticed my normal girl is very similar in a way.

I watched several videos also of spinners. And my girl acts very similar to these snakes, but not a morph. Although she doesnt spin to the extent of alot of these snakes, nor does it seem to be a problem to her, she often at night comes out of her hide and reaches upwards to explore the top of her tank and her head goes back and she slowly falls down backwards and then does it again.

She does not any sign of being disoriented or contorted when i hold her or she moves around. she eats fine, and doesnt spin then.

Could this just be a weird little habit of hers? Do you think it could be something wrong? Shes in every way healthy, she just seems to have this weird little quirk. I read about IBD, and I in no way think this is it.

What do you think?

My normal has a slight wobble... kind of weird! Spiders are probably just more noticeable in certain cases.

k thanks. i figured it was just a little quirk and nothing big. but i spent the whole night reading about snake diseases etc and then i got paranoid when i started reading about wobbles and spinners lol. not that its a big deal.

Most people blow the wobble/spinning issue way out of proportion. Unless the snake is not able to function at all you shouldn't be worried.

Oh, at night all of my snakes do that spiders and normals. Is she rubbing her nose against the top of the enclosure? This is just curious snake behavior
Im not too sure how a normal would have head wobble, but I'm sure it's possible... But yea, there is definitely nothing to worry about, and if it was IBD, trust me, you would know! And about the spinning with spiders, a lot of people find the spinning to be such a TERRIBLE thing! I truthfully don't find it to be a problem AT ALL! If the snake can eat, digest, shed, breed, and explore, there is NOTHING wrong with it, and they are NO different than any other snake.

Please stop offering opinions on posts as if you have any real experience whatsoever. All you are doing is muddying the water and confusing other people who are looking for accurate information.... Of course you don't find spinning to be a problem, you have what.. 1 spider? and you've been in this hobby what... 1 month now?? Glad to see you learned the lesson after your botched breakout and that humility is working so well for you.

As to the original post, I'm with the Wonginator. Also it tends to be more pronounced (in any morph or norm) when they are young. In quite a few cases, when the wobble/tremor is faint as a youngster then tend to lose it completely as their muscles develop and they gain better control.
