    I have posted him a number of times. He came out of a fire bee x superpastel het g stripe pairing. Neither parent had that look, so if it is genetic it would be recessive. Here he is bred back to the mom.

    Yes he looked like that straight out of the egg.

    There is no reason to. Neither parent were visuals, so if this is reproducible genetically, then the parents are both 100% hets. Whatever the father has, the mother has. The son has the visual homozygous form, so I use him over the father. The sisters would be 66% hets, so the mother is better.
