    Crotalus vergrandis

This little girl just shed yesterday. They just keep getting nicer with every shed, and I love how variable they are.

Thanks I like her more and more after every shed. Not much worry about rotten fingers with this one though. Vegrandis has almost completely Nero toxic venom, so there are little to no symptoms that you would normally expect to see from a Crotalus bite.

I am so jealous everytime someone shows their venomous on these forums. I have been doing tons of research into venomous and am part of a venomous forum, I just hope I can find someone here willing to mentor me. Awesome snake you have there!

Where in Germany do you live? There are so many venomous keepers in Germany, it shouldn't be hard to find a mentor.

Very nice. I'm not really a huge rattler fan. But I really do like of couple of crotalus, and all the durissus and former durissus members. I actually did get the 2 vergrandis I have for free lol. They have pretty big litters and since they are so hot there is not a huge demand for them here in Ontario. Please share the photos if you do get the pifanorum. I'd love to see them.

Ah rattlesnakes are my favourite snakes lol.

Yeah, at one point vergandis were £1000 each, but now people give them away for free!

My friend has pifanorum at the moment, il will get some pics off him tomorrow. Really similar to vergrandis, nice little snakes.

Is Ontario the only place where it's legal to keep venomous in Canada?

There is no federal law in Canada regulating the keeping of Hots. It is instead left to the individual municipalities to govern. And onfurtunatly there is more and more places that restrict the possession of venomous animals by private keepers. I wish it was more like Europe here, but as it stands the hot community is very small by comparison.
