Herpstat 4
Anyone one have any experience with these? Looking to get one just wondering how they last, I have the nd and want to get the 4 to run my new carpet oython cage(rhp) and control my rack(3in flex watt) and when I make a incubator(11in) just want to make sure I'm not going to blow something if I use it to control 4 different set ups. Thanks
Tom

I'm running a few Herpstat 4's, they are great. Highly recommended. As long as you don't go over the 400 watts per channel (1600 watts all 4 combined) you won't have any issues.

seconded they are a solid unit and very reliable. I have one and 3 pros they pros are also very great units but the soft heat is a great addition as well as the relay safety built in. They are possibly the safest t-stat on the market by a long stretch.

Absolutely love our Herpstat 4! Very user friendly, sturdy and well-built and spyder robotics customer service is excellent! It will be more than capable of running your variety of setups!
As we expand and our collection grows we will definitely be adding more!

I use these things for racks, incubators, racks and incubators at the same time, Flexwatt strips for the roach bins, you name it. Very versatile units, very easy to program, I love them.

Question for the Herpstat 4 users...
1. How long is the probe from the box to the end of the sensor?
2. Is the plug from the box grounded?
3. To use the automatic nightime drop feature do you need anything else? Do you need an appliance timer like you do with other brands?
Thanks!

The probes are quite long I have to guess but at least 6 feet.
The outlets are grounded.
No the night drop is built in I think all the modern units but the ve are.
