As of October there will no longer be antivenom for Coral Snakes (unless the FDA decides to extend the current supply's expiration date). Pfizer doesnt want to make more and there have been issues getting the antivenom in the US from other companies.
I'd have to be lucky enough to actually SEE one to have to worry about it.

Coral snakes are illegal to keep as pets in AZ anyways.....and well I'd have to say someone picking them up bare handed with no experience is well slightly special.....the only way you can own them is if it was prior to July 1, 2010 and have proof or someone who had it prior to said date gave it to you and you have proof...then you need a permit and regular vet checks etc

some of the laws are dumb and need to be re thought entirely including the owning rattle snakes needing only a hunting license however fish and game doing anything right would be a miracle, also note the law just passed same as previous laws they claimed out of date

Prescott Valley here. Glad to see other people from Arizona ^_^

I have 1 large adult normal ball (King) and one little baby ball (Alien). Not sure if either is male or female. I was told by the previous owner of King that he had taken him to a vet to be probed and was told King was a male. He's a pretty big male though. If I hold his tail and his head is on the floor, he comes up to my shoulder and I'm 5 foot 6 XD
