5+ weeks at 89 grams
I just weighed my BP at 89 grams. I've had her about 5 weeks. I got her from Petsmart. I know ALLLLL about Petsmart and their shenanigans now. She feeds good weekly. I was doing fuzzies the first two or three weeks, then I did an adult mouse and freaked out because she was huge. Last week I feed her the next size up after a fuzzy. Yesterday I found her shed and today poop.
After I weighed her I searched her weight and food size. A lot of articles said there could be something wrong with her. I just think she wasnt fed properly at the store and maybe I haven't been feeding her properly since having her? I'm doing weekly. What are your thoughts on what and when to feed her? Should I do every 5 days?

Usually the recommendation is rat pups for young BPs. She should be able to handle an adult mouse. Hopefully someone else will chime in with a size chart.

If your snake is eating and not gaining weight have you considered taking to vet? I would imagine things such as parasites could cause this.
Just a thought.. and I don’t think a visit to the vet is never a bad idea for a new pet.

It's not hat she isn't gaining weight. I was worried because she's underweight. From what I've read anyway. I don't know her exact age but do know she's over 5 weeks due to having her almost 6 weeks now. I think she was under fed and was interested to know if I should be feeding her more than once a week.

Oh gotcha. Well I know they all grow at their own pace. Just continue to feed an appropriately sized meal once a week and she’ll pack on the grams
