75% or so. They eat the weaker tadpoles. If not you would end up with bad frogs by trying to save them all.

very true but 75% is a great survival rate out of maybe 2000 tadpoles getting 1500 is awesome, do you have pictures of your next step when you separate them after this stage what method do you use to keep them?

the babies are looking great at that stage what variety of foods do you offer and when you go to the large pool/ tubs do do you use anything special to keep them separate? I use to use pvc holding up the light diffuser and thin mesh to keep them above and filter the water below to keep water clean for them and to make cleaning them fast
