Corrugate Cardboard
I heard this made excellent substrate for snakes.
I've looked a bit online and price are all over the place. That makes me wonder if there is a difference in quality?
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.

I've never heard that. Seems to me that it would be a pain to deal with because of the rigidity. I also don't see it being very absorbent.

It's called Single face Corrugated.
Cardboard is the backing sheet, corrugate is what the wavey cardboard is called (flutes) and it's called singleface because there's only backing on one side. Usually it's bought per roll, some people buy the rolls and then pre-cut them to size and sell them as 'cage liners' for a much higher price (but that's because it's not always easy to find).
I use dunnage (unprinted newspaper) for my small snakes and singleface for my large boas ("flute" side up). I like the traction it gives them and the ease of cleaning a large cage (when soiled, just remove the 1 or 2 layers and replace).
I currently work for a packaging distribution company so I can buy at cost, I get a 24" x 250' roll which I cut to size as needed. It costs just under $22 so for retail, expect the price to be 30-40% higher on average.
I HATE to recommend them but for the 'average joe' you can get it online via Uline. Shipping may be expensive. You may have local packaging/corrugated box companies near you but a lot will only sell to businesses. Amazon may have it as they sell kraft wrap and such so worth a shot as well.
Hope that helps!
here's a random shot of one of my boas on the singleface (hopefully the photo bucket link still works):

Oh and as far as difference in quality, no, not really. The only differences in singleface are the flute size (the size of the ridges).

The image shows box liner (cardboard facing on both sides of the flute) but it shows you the flute sizes.

Thanks a bunch April. Newspaper isn't cutting as she moves it quite easily so a third of the cage ends up not covered. And with aspen, getting her out to handle means a good chunk of the aspen comes with her. So I saw a few vids where people had this stuff because it was sturdy and can be removed and replace easily.
